Watercolor Lettuce Portrait, set of 5 art cards with envelopes, any occasion greeting card

  • 1500

These are 4" x 6" (10.16 cm x 15.25 cm), so standard mailing size, no special postage required.
Envelopes included.
Offset prints of my original watercolor painting.
Blank inside.
Printed on Sundance Felt card stock (100 lb.) so it looks and feels like the watercolor paper it was painted on. Lightly textured yet smooth enough for writing (see close-up writing photo for a sense of this).
Please allow for slight color differences as naturally happen in the printing process.

I love the whole process of jotting even a quick note to a friend: sitting down with a cup of tea, feeling my pen flow over delicious paper, and sending both word and image that will bring cheer, something from my hands to his or hers.

To say nothing of my unending joy in foodlore:
In 1699, John Evelyn published the first ever book on salad, "Acetaria: A Discourse of Sallets." No one in Europe at that point ate salads. Why? "Everyone agreed with the wisdom of the ages: civilized people just didn't eat salads. They ate meat and grains. Raw greens were for animals and savages."
